Sundays at Community UMC​

​Blended Worship Service at 9:30 a.m.
Followed by fellowship and snacks
Our service includes an uplifting and warm service with contemporary and traditional elements.
During the service, children are welcome to participate in the music and our monthly
communion service. They are released after Children's Time for Sunday School.
​After service, all are welcome to join us for fellowship in Bennett Hall. 

​Mountain Manna is every 4th Saturday of the month unless there is a major holiday,
and then food is distributed the 3rd Sunday.

​Our Quilt Square

It is important for us to be part of the Julian Backcountry Quilt Trail because active participation in our community is a priority of our congregation. We designed this square to symbolize what we believe. 

The yellow star at the center reminds us that God is light and at the center of our lives. The cross surrounding the star reminds us that Jesus is God incarnate who lived and died for our sake. The blue of the cross reminds us that we are united to Jesus by the waters of our baptism. The reds represent the fire of the Holy Spirit which gives us the power and inspiration we need to carry out God’s purposes. The pattern of the reds reminds us that we are sent out by God to the four corners of the world to proclaim the Good News of Christ and to love and serve our neighbors.
